I love this noodle soup! I actually add a scoop of protein and collagen powder to it when I eat it. It is very tasteful and yummy. For a quick meal I highly recommend this product.

This is one of my favorite soups. All of the different flavors are nice and mild, and very tasty. I usually add a little salt after I cook it, but that’s just me. I like how easy they are to make, and how quickly I can make it. It’s my emergency go-to for when hunger strikes and I’m feeling weak. The soups thicken up nicely after you let it sit for a few minutes, allowing the rice noodles to soak up the liquid and flavors. It ends up being mostly noodles then, which is the way I like it. I highly recommend!

We found these years ago as a random option at a local grocery store, bought them to try, and loved them! We were delighted to find this variety pack since our local market only carried them randomly, if at all. Bought these to send to hubby who was deployed and he loved being able to have quick and easy options when he couldn’t get to the galley.

Awesome replacement for ramen noodle packets for those of us who cannot eat gluten products. They did come in a soft sided envelope package rather than a box, but the rice noodles bend a bit when dry so there was minimal breakage.Flavors are good. Strong enough without being overpowering. If you are used to very salty ramen packet flavoring, this will taste bland in comparison, but just look at the ingredients lists to see how much “less bad” these instant noodles are for you than most instant noodle packets/cups.There are also a ton of ways to prepare them. You can microwave or cook on the stovetop. I will also boil water and then pour it into a bowl over the noodles and let them sit for a while to soften. Even if the noodles are broken, you can just add a bit more liquid and make noodle soup! These are definitely my new post-work “I don’t want to cook but an hungry” pantry staple.

Update: When I made this review, these were $14.99 and a great deal. Sometimes they are cheaper to buy them in a store. My Review: These noodles are good. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. This is a great, cheap meal that is quick and easy to make. I used to live in Thailand. I am gluten free – so these are the best quick meals for me when I don’t feel like really cooking. My favorite one – most flavorful, is the one with garlic & chili. These meals are reminiscent of basic Thai noodle meals I would eat when I lived in Thailand. These are not going to taste like Ramen noodles – packed with insane levels of salt and chemicals. This is much healthier with less ingredients. If it isn’t flavorful enough for you, add some spices. I always add a massive amount of cayenne after it’s heated up and soaking. It is much much more flavorful. I also wanted to really get a good amount of broth when eating the noodles. In order to do this, I need the noodles to be smaller. I will take the packet (after opening it, while holding the end closed) and crunch those noodles up with my hands while it is still in its packaging. Then, I open and pour it in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. I have a kettle to heat up the water. But, rice noodles can be tricky and it’s never cooked by that alone. So I then put it in the microwave for 1 minute (sometimes 1 1/2) and then I let it sit for another minute and it’s perfect. Since I broke the noodles into smaller pieces, I can then eat it with a spoon (for more broth) or a fork.

Ordered the Thai Kitchen Instant Rice Noodle Soup via Amazon because no supermarket in Fairfax, VA — not Giant, not Safeway, not Shoppers, not Wegman’s, not Lidl, not Aldi, not Harris Tweeter, not Trader Joe’s — carries this once-ubiquitous product any more. Otherwise I would have found it within 10 miles of GMU. The University Giant used to carry them since they used to cater to the college students across the street. No longer. And they used to cost only a buck, too, but then I’m geezing.I received four packages each of spring onion, garlic & vegetable, lemongrass & chili. The packages were in a flimsy but suitable thin cardboard box that had been firmly wrapped in plastic. This, in turn was in the heavy plastic delivery bag. A small white label on the plastic wrap of the box indicated that the best by date was July, 2022. This was technically incorrect: each flavor had different best by dates of April (garlic), May (spring onion) and July (lemongrass) of 2022 stamped on the individual packages. The package sizes (1.6-oz.) may be smaller than other brands (did it used to be larger? don’t recall), but that means at least the sodium content of 490-550mg is manageable. I expect it to taste same-same.Have no idea what the attribute “warmth” of the review means. Maybe, as in “picante?”Delivery was prompt. Would definitely purchase again from this vendor.

I always have these in my pantry for a quick meal. I boil water and throw in any veggies I have handy, then throw one pack of these in the pot last. the soup is ready by the time I get the veggies chopped. Fast, easy, nutritious. For extra noodles I stop by an asian market for more rice noodles, because I don’t want lots of salt in my soup, so I only ever use one of these packets. If I want soup, I use more water, if I want more of a stir fry (no oil), I use less water in the pot. When just me, I add more garlic powder and hot pepper flakes, and then put lemon juice when eating it.

11/18/2020UPDATE:Wound up purchasing again from the same seller. Price is pretty much the same wherever you go. This time they came in a shipping bag but STILL very minimal noodle breakage. The rice noodles are pretty flexible when dry so they don’t shatter as easily in shipment. 10/10 recommend.Original review:Was excited to see a gluten free type of ramen noodle on here. Expensive, but as someone with celiac disease you come to expect that with all food. They arrived packed into a long skinny box so no noodle breakage. Flavor was good in the pack I tried. Lemongrass is yummy! The packs are really small, but made a nice filling soup. I added a diced up chicken breast and you can add veggies, eggs, tofu, whatever, for a hearty soup.I only used half the seasoning to cut back on sodium and wound up not even drinking the broth, but the noodles pulled a lot of flavor in on their own.10/10 would buy again, but will try to find it cheaper elsewhere online. Amazon is always expensive when it comes to buying food on here.

I love these little soups, it’s even better that they are gluten-free.

They taste great

These are always in my pantry for those times I want sumpin, sumpin but not a lot of it. And when I’m motivated, I’ll add green onions, chicken, shrimp, or something extra to liven them up. Usually, though, there’s nothing in the fridge and I just make them as-is. They do the job.

Super tasty, easy to throw together.

I liked these because they aren’t too salty, 580mg is safe, and there is a good variety of flavors. Each pack comes with a seasoning packet, and also an oil packet, which are contained inside a small plastic bag separate from the rice noodles in the package. I heat them for 3min30sec and you have to let them sit in the broth for at least 2 minutes to get the noodles really soft and plumped up.My only criticism is that it definitely has that cheap ramen smell when you heat it up in the microwave, it’s kind of embarrassing at work lol even though everyone does it. This isn’t a criticism, but please be careful when cutting the oil packets, I have spilled it on my pants leg and it leaves a permanent grease stain.

I love this brand. These are good for those that have a gluten allergy. I’m not a fan of hot and spicy so the lemongrass chili is a flavor I gave away. The other two flavors are ones I trade off – one day is one flavor the next is the other flavor. And then maybe a light sandwich in between. Now I just keep my fingers crossed that they’ll be available when I’m ready to order again.

We found these awhile back in our local Walmart, in the gluten free isle, but they stopped carrying them! Now I can get them at Sprouts (a health food /organic market), but they are more expensive. My hubby and I love these. And for under 200 calories, they make a great snack when you want something soothing, delicious, and (most importantly for me) gluten free!!! We get this variety pack because I like the Garlic Vegetable most, and my husband likes Spring Onion most. We both like Lemongrass and Chili! ESPECIALLY if you add a bit of Coconut milk to the mix, after it has sat for awhile. (Always remember to let it sit for awhile after cooking! It helps to make the noodles plump up by absorbing more of the “soup”). Highly recommended!!

when I first opened the package and saw the noodles I was immediately convinced I would be throwing them out but then came back here and re -read the reviews so I gave them a second chance since I was really in search of gluten free noodles. The trick to them is to microwave per instructions for 3 minutes then let them sit for at least another 2 minutes..the sitting allows them to get all puffed up ..for me I drained most of the liquid out and then added a pat of butter and voila..delicious noodles and butter, just what I was looking for. I know for sure I will be buying more.

These noodles are milder in flavor than ramen, but equally versatile and flavorful. The package may seem small, but once cooked, you get a lot of noodles.I like to pull the noodles from the broth, and then spoon some broth over them. Adding an egg to the pot near the end of cook time is good, also. The heat will cook it through after a few minutes. The chili oil is mild and sweet. You’ll notice the lower salt content compared to instant ramen, but a little soy or teriyaki sauce can bring out the flavor.

I LOVE these! Being gluten free and suffering with IBS it’s hard to find things I can eat. I wasn’t sure if the flavors of these noodles were going to be too strong but they are perfect! And haven’t upset my stomach at all! The noodles are a little different texture than regular noodles but they are so easy to make! I’m also on a tight budget so these are the perfect affordable lunch! I also love that you can add anything to them like veggies or meat! Will be buying these again soon!

I cook veggies & tofu, and then cook the noodles in water. I only use half the flavor pack to decrease the salt. A quick healthy meal.Other times I add cooked meat instead of tofu.

These are REALLY delicious! They are rice noodles so they don’t just sit in your belly and soak up water for days. Don’t get me wrong first love will always be less than a dollar (you see me). The flavor is so good as well. But, do not rush… this is a process, rushing will lead to a weird grease situation, so if I see that on here I will question if you followed the instructions. In the end… yum, and great for sensitive belly.
